From Tallinn Airport to the city centre
The airport is a short ride from the centre by tram or bus, and far cheaper than a taxi. The simplest route is tram 2, which leaves from right outside the terminal.
The app asks for your location to plan the trip from where you are.
Take the lift or escalator from arrivals to the public transport centre at the northern end of the terminal and ride tram 2 into the centre. The trip takes about 15 minutes and a single ticket costs 2 euros.
Step by step
From arrivals, take the lift or escalator to the public transport centre at the northern end of the terminal.
Buy a ticket first: a 2 euro QR ticket from the machine in the waiting area by the stop, or online, or tap a contactless bank card on board.
Wait for tram 2 at the Lennujaam stop and ride towards the city centre.
Get off at a city centre stop, for example Viru or Hobujaama.
Tickets and fares
A single ride costs 2 euros and is valid for one hour, so a transfer on the same ticket is allowed. Buy a QR ticket from the machine or online, or tap a contactless bank card on the validator on board. A Tallinn public transport card can be bought from the R-kiosk in the terminal.
